The Women’s U19 WFC 2024 will be played at Lahti Energia Areena in the Lahti Sports and Fair Centre, with both competition courts within the same venue.
The Lahti Sports & Fair Centre is located within easy reach of the city center. The complex comprises Lahti Energia Areena, Salpausselkä Hall, Lahti Hall, and Vesijärvi Hall. Facilities are highly flexible and provide technical facilities that suit diverse uses: trade fairs and exhibitions, concerts, conferences, corporate events, product launches and television productions. The adaptable premises host up to 10,000 people. A newly constructed spacious 800 m2 central lobby connects all of the centre’s halls, providing a stylish venue for staging events.
The modern, well-appointed, and beautifully designed meeting rooms are ideal for events attended by anywhere from 10 to 700 people. Event-organisers can choose their own catering service or take advantage of the sports and fair centre’s in-house catering.
The Lahti Sports and Fair Centre is only a short walk from the city centre. The fastest train journey from Helsinki to Lahti takes just 49 minutes and Helsinki-Vantaa international airport can be reached within an hour from Lahti.
