The final round of the 11th Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships will be played from 8th – 12th May 2024 at the Lahti Sports & Fair Centre in Lahti, Finland. This will be the 2nd time that Finland has hosted the event, the previous time being the very first Women’s U19 WFC in Tampere in 2004.
In the final round, 16 teams will compete for the title of World Champion. Thirteen teams received direct qualification, based on results from U19 WFC 2022 and regional quotas, while the remaining three places were decided in a European qualification event in August 2023. Competing for these three spots were Hungary, Denmark, Italy, and France. For France, this was their first time participating in the Women’s U19 World Championships.
GROUPS
The group ballot was holded 2th September during the Nordic Challenge event in Finland. All 16 teams are now set and the ballot has been drawn for the four groups at the Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2024 next May in Lahti.
