The U19 Women’s World Championships will start this week and take place from 8th to 12th May in Sports and Fair Centre in Lahti. The opening ceremony of the tournament will be held before Finland’s first match against Poland at 18:40 in Arena A.

In addition to international top-level floorball, there will be a lot of daily changing activities ranging from family activities to the 3v3 World Championship tournament. The opening ceremony will take place at 18:40 in Arena A, before Finland’s opening match against Poland. The event will feature opening speeches, a performance by LCS (Lahti Cheerleading Club) Panthers dancers, and appearances by Jessica Lajunen, Miikka Kallio, and Jakke Saarinen. The main performer at the opening ceremony will be Ilta.
